Our goal is to raise $6,000 through craftsmanship and compassion — connecting heritage, creativity, and giving.

These include:
• Launching Handmade with Heart, Rooted in Heritage, a special campaign where every handmade homeware purchase supports underprivileged children in the Philippines.
• Sharing stories from our weaving communities to celebrate heritage and kindness.
• Encouraging conscious purchases that tie art to purpose.
• Inspiring people to see how handmade beauty can build a brighter tomorrow.

Through Handmade with Heart, Rooted in Heritage, we’re keeping Filipino weaving traditions alive while supporting children’s access to education, nourishment, and mentorship. Each handwoven piece — whether a placemat, bag, or blanket — becomes a promise of opportunity and hope.

🌱 Story of Hope

At home, Benedict, 15, takes on significant family responsibilities. He cares for his younger sibling, including picking him up after tuition at Young Hearts and supporting his mother with part-time delivery work during school holidays. Despite these demands, he remains a highly disciplined student who wakes up early every morning to exercise and go through his school notes before classes begin. Quiet yet dependable, Benedict is an inspirational boy who is not afraid to admit that he used to face addiction to gaming only to realise one day that he has to make good of his life and that starts with a change in mindset.

Benedict has since channeled his time and energy to healthy pursuits, including his studies and picking up calisthenics on his own. At Young Hearts, Benedict has found a calm space where he is able to focus on his studies just for that short time and through the various organised activities, to form friendships and explore his interests. His resilience, independence, and quiet determination continue to guide him toward a promising future where he dreams of working in Finance or being an aeronautical engineer.
