Our goal is to support vulnerable children by extending CDL’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and community — bringing light and hope to children who need it most.
These include:
• Partnering with Peace of Art for the 60 Lights, One Future campaign, celebrating Singapore’s 60th birthday through purpose-driven giving.
• Supporting the Singapore Red Cross Young Hearts Programme, which provides education, mentorship, enrichment, and nutrition for children from public rental flats.
• Mobilising CDL’s City Sunshine Club — a volunteer group dedicated to “bringing sunshine to the less fortunate.”
• Continuing CDL’s three-decade legacy of corporate responsibility — where business growth and community care go hand in hand.

For Esther An, Chief Sustainability Officer at City Developments Limited (CDL), sustainability has always meant caring for both the planet and its people.
For over 30 years, CDL has built its reputation not just on green construction, but on compassion — ensuring that progress benefits everyone. Through 60 Lights, One Future, CDL continues to illuminate lives beyond its buildings, supporting children who have fallen through the cracks of society.
Through the City Sunshine Club, CDL employees volunteer their time and energy to uplift communities, embodying the company’s mission to bring warmth, light, and care wherever it’s needed most.
🌱 Story of Hope
Lloyd, 11, is an only child living with his mother. Feeling lonely, he often turned to his mobile phone, finding companionship also through his neighbour’s family, who are part of Young Hearts. Lloyd struggled with emotional regulation and social interactions, but with consistent support from staff, he is learning to manage his emotions and engage respectfully with peers.
The centre provides a safe space, timely meals, and guidance, helping him focus on studies and personal growth. Slowly, Lloyd is gaining confidence, forming friendships, and balancing his interests, including gaming and soccer. Your support gives children like Lloyd the guidance and encouragement to thrive.
