maker_xiu ('秀') is a play on my chinese name and the chinese word for sewing. It is my expression of delight in the slow art of embroidery, love of floral designs, and making them into usable items such as bookmarks and necklaces.
It is an absolute joy to be a part of this year's Sustainable Christmas Market! My hope is for people to find a carefully sewn item as a gift to loved ones or themselves, at the same time, giving something to the underserved children of our community so that all can be blessed this Christmas season.
